Roles and responsibilities
- Fundamental understanding of Service Now modules, integration hub, and components
- Development and enhancement of Service Now applications/modules. (TSM / ITSM / CMDB / CSM / OMT/ FSM / ITOM / TSOM / GRC / HRSD)
- Hands-on experience in API integration (OOTB, Custom) with third-party applications.
- Develop workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications and automate and improve business processes.
- Customizing ServiceNow using UI Pages, UI Macro & CMS using CSS, HTML, Jelly.
- Implement changes, workflow automation, UI, integrations, and enhancements.
- Perform workflow design, configuration, development, and data loads for ServiceNow platform.
Primary required skills :
- Knowledge on ITIL, eTOM and TAM.
- Understanding of TM Forum APIs.
- Understanding of Telecom products or services.
- System integration experience using web services and other web-based technologies such as XML, HTML, AJAX, CSS, HTTP, REST/SOAP, SSO-SAML.
Qualifications and Experience
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent with programming experience
- Understanding of the entire Service assurance or fulfillment life cycle with 3-6 years of experience.
- Experience in configuring Business Rules, Scripting, UI Actions, Scheduled Jobs, etc.
- Experience of Agile way of working – User Story, Sprint model etc.
- Experience of Agile way of working – User Story, Sprint model etc.
- Having technical bent of mind with interest in system configurations and integrations.
- Good functional understanding of any one of the tools with at least 4 years of experience – ServiceNow, Netcool, BMC Remedy, EMC Smarts
- Experienced in the areas of BSS/OSS architecture, design and implementation for Telecom customers which can enable effective capturing of requirements
- Should be able to engage with multiple stakeholders like Business, SI partners and System owners.
